Specifically in the case of a Colorado College I.P.E. education, I feel that we have been programmed with the knowledge that this is possible and the obligation to due this analysis quickly. I think our balanced (liberal) education is the basis of not only our "success" but also our happiness. We all know and have all studied a myriad of people who have gone before us; but with the liberal arts education I feel that we have chosen to adopt a better understanding in our approach to the world.
Plus, we got to hang out with General Wes Clark for a discussion into the ideas behind world defense and the future "monitization" of security.
AND the skiing and chicks are great!

Re: SnoZone, indoor snow hill in Milton Keynes

Is that the British Alps unheard-of writing or whatever you knuckled draggers call it. He made some good points, but I was hoping for something more cohesive, demanding, inspiring. Decent jokes, but was too softspoken (or far from the mic,) and his delivery just a bit off, to drive them home.

Thought he could've used more details about what goes on at Craigslist...
A vice president from Walmart spoke at the commencement for Management grads later that day. At times I was annoyed that he tooted Walmart's horn ~ and I bet Craig wanted to avoid this sounding like a sales pitch... but there's something to be said for talking about what you know best. A fine line.

Re: Things I'll Miss About DC

milky bars are tasty. but so are cadbury buttons. try those on for size.

Re: Things I'll Miss About DC

Problem is I opened up the Milky Bar a couple nights ago when I was hungry-- so I have to buy another one-- and it wasn't that good either.

Re: Things I'll Miss About DC

I've decided you actually just move to places that I have lived/been living in.
