I also think that part of the value of our Liberal Arts education is that it teaches us not to over-react in business, and to analyze every decision from several points of view before acting. Specifically in the case of a Colorado College I.P.E. education, I feel that we have been programmed with the knowledge that this is possible and the obligation to due this analysis quickly. I think our balanced (liberal) education is the basis of not only our "success" but also our happiness. We all know and have all studied a myriad of people who have gone before us; but with the liberal arts education I feel that we have chosen to adopt a better understanding in our approach to the world.
Plus, we got to hang out with General Wes Clark for a discussion into the ideas behind world defense and the future "monitization" of security.
AND the skiing and chicks are great!
